Hike for practice during Lynch Canyon on Nov. 29

After Thanksgiving feasts and Black Friday frenzies, spend an autumn morning with inlet fan Jim Hanser hiking a pleasing hills during Lynch Canyon Open Space Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 29. Lynch Canyon is during 3100 Lynch Road nearby McGary Road, between Fairfield and Vallejo.

Use all your senses to conclude this internal treasure, including a trees, birds and views of a bay. The guided travel is free. Parking is $5 with all deduction to assistance Solano County Parks keep this land open and safe.

Expect a assuage gait with occasional breaks while hiking 4 to 6 miles adult and down hills on disproportionate ground. In sequence to strengthen wildlife, cattle, and singular plants — and for your pet’s reserve — dogs are not allowed.

Bring a trek with copiousness of H2O and snacks. Wear boots or stout closed-toe boots with good tread. Long, stout pants are recommended, along with layered clothes, and insurance from sun, breeze and fog. You might also wish to move hiking sticks, bug repellent, binoculars and a camera.
